She is a storyteller who paints pictures with instruments and words. Her music combines soulful melodies and perceptive lyrics, restraint and strong emotions. In Irini's songs, piano sounds meet various vocal techniques and experimental production approaches. The result is a mixture of melancholic folk and indie pop - the main thing is powerful vocals. What drives Irini? Everything she learnt during her studies in sociology and philosophy. ‘That's why many of my lyrics contain socio-critical and thought-provoking messages,’ says Irini. A significant event in her career to date was the organisation, execution and performance at a charity concert called ‘Berlin Bridge’, which raised more than 1,000 euros for the Berliner Obdachlosenhilfe e.V. charity. At this show, Irini created an atmosphere of communication through music. Her aim is to bring people together, make them think and prove that we all share a collective loneliness. She does this very well in her current music.
