They rocked the Reeperbahn Festival 2022 and The Great Escape Festival 2023! That alone tells you an incredible amount about the quality of the band's music. HÆCTOR have been a permanent part of the Hamburg music scene since 2017. In June 2022, the long-awaited and much-celebrated debut album ‘Modern Urban Angst’ was released, containing ten songs. The band led by Martin Wendt (vocals), Christopher Kellner (guitar), Christoph Rosemeier (drums) and Lena Schöllermann (bass) describe their style as follows: ‘monumentally electrifying indie pop paired with euphoria and melancholy.’ The band focuses specifically on creaky-sounding rhythms with subtle, caustic criticism of the times, paired with likeable, casual humour and a lot of confidence - and reinvent themselves time and again. HÆCTOR produces all songs in co-operation with the renowned producer Henrik Menzel.
