With their new songs, they venture into unknown territory and change direction. In terms of genre, they are located in the mezzanine between mosh pit and disco brawl. And FLEKS are also developing thematically. The lyrics of the new songs are more personal and direct than anything before. They have already established themselves in the Austrian music scene with their ambitious debut album ‘Color TV’ (released in July 2020). In the concept album, the three musicians - bassist Max Leitgeb, drummer Fabian Edelbacher and singer and guitarist Martin Resatz - show the sensory overload of everyday television from the viewer's perspective. Self-irony and pure social criticism. In August 2022, FLEKS had the great honour of performing on the main stage of the Frequency Festival in St. Pölten. Now they have reunited as a band - with support on drums and keyboards, Max Leitgeb and Martin Resatz will rock the stage in future.
